The great entry

Well this is my first post on this brand new blog. It has been a long time since I first heard of blogging, and I have now decided to join the new fad.
What should I start with? Well first of all I should tell you all that I am a junior in high school, I am interested in computer technology and the internet. My pastime is making website layouts and some desktop enhansing stuff. I am pretty good at it , my work is starting to get some attention from my pears. However it is just a pastime. What I am really interested in is computer programming and software development.

Yeah I know you guys have already in mind that I am a geek or a nerd...NO I am neither one of those, even though we share some interest I do not have the whole package. I have been looking for a college to attend for the past six or seven months. I was first attracted to full sail which is in Florida, because I like video games a lot and would love to make a career out of it which is what full sail focuses on, but I realized that I needed a degree that would give me more choices and open more doors for me. So I decided that I was going to get a regular bachelor degree in computer science which can make you end up as a federal agent, a software developer for an IT company or a programmer in the game industry.

Some have asked me what I thought of outsourcing which seems to be heavily hitting the computer job market. I respond saying that there is always some setbacks in everything you do and that the best always end up ahead. I have also talked to people in this job market and they have all told me not to worry about it as long as all my heart is in what I do. I try to keep a positive mind set about that and many other stuff concerning my future.

Another thing that I am interested in is sports. I am a varsity athlete (no not a jock) , I am in my schools' wrestling and soccer team. We are not the best ever to step on the mat or the field, but being number one is not always the most important thing. Being a team which we sometime are and having fun which I always do is the most important thing to me. In fact the soccer team had a game today, but I was not able to join them because of family problems.

Geez I can't believe I wrote so much, it's funny that at first you do not know what to say, but you end up writing much more that you expected you would. I guess this will be it for today, I am running out of ink and I think you guys are getting tired of reading.
