So today was my last day as a Lovejoy High wrestler. I lost my bid for state so my season is now over. It was a great run though I have to say. Those were two great wrestling season. This was by far the best. We had less meets, but the team was just awesome. No attitudes or cockiness unlike last year. I just wish I had started earlier. But hey! At least I got a chance to step on the mat and do the best that I could. I will try to comeback and check out the team next year, during college breaks...
This actually made me realize that these are my last high school months. Before today it hadn't hit me yet, but today I was like "Oh shit this is over!" I never knew that wrestling would become such a big part of my life. I mean only two years ago, I didn't even know what it was. Its a pretty addicting sport, maybe the best sports ever.
Anyways good season and great memories.
